The Madhya Pradesh Athletics Association (MPAA) serves as the official governing body for athletics in Madhya Pradesh, India. Affiliated with the Athletics Federation of India, MPAA is responsible for organizing, regulating, and promoting athletics across the state. Its headquarters are located at E-7/31, Arera Colony, Bhopal – 462016.

Key Functions and Activities

Event Organization :

MPAA conducts various state-level competitions, including the M.P. State Inter-District Athletics Championship, providing platforms for athletes to showcase their talents.

Athlete Development :

The association collaborates with the Madhya Pradesh State Athletics Academy of Excellence in Bhopal, which offers international-standard training facilities for disciplines like pole vault, javelin, shot put, and decathlon.

Talent Identification :

MPAA actively engages in talent search programs to identify and nurture promising athletes from grassroots levels.
